CARD DROPS

Choosing proxies for Pokémon card drops

The quick answerFor a Pokémon card drop, check that your client supports the proxy protocol, the rental covers your intended window, and the traffic allowance fits your workload. A proxy relays traffic through another public IP; it does not guarantee stock, bypass a store’s rules, or secure a checkout.

Start with client compatibility

Dropstride supplies dedicated datacenter IPv4 endpoints with username/password authentication. Your bot or other client must support HTTP proxies and HTTPS CONNECT. SOCKS5 is not included.

Confirm your client’s import format before paying. Dropstride exports IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD, one IP per line. Some clients use separate fields instead of an import file; enter the same values in those fields.

Allow time for provisioning and a connection check

Proxies are created after payment, not held in a ready pool. The fulfillment target is 10 minutes and is not a guaranteed deadline. Leave time to receive the complete order, import credentials, and verify connectivity before your intended task.

Your 24-hour clock starts when the complete pack is ready. Buying much earlier also means the rental expires earlier. Check the exact ready and expiry times in your dashboard instead of assuming the clock starts at checkout.

Separate a proxy check from store acceptance

A successful check to a public HTTPS page confirms that your client can authenticate and relay traffic. A retailer can still apply its own access rules, challenges, and limits. Different destinations can behave differently with the same connection.

Use clients and activity permitted by the destination’s terms. Dropstride operates the relay only; it does not operate a purchasing bot or promise a successful checkout. Dropstride is not affiliated with Pokémon or any retailer.

Before you buy

The current product costs US$2.00 per proxy, with 24-hour access and 1 GB of combined traffic per IP. Purchases do not include replacements or refunds, subject to applicable rights. Check the service terms before ordering.

  • Confirm HTTP proxy support and username/password authentication.
  • Plan around the fulfillment target and the delivery-based expiry.
  • Measure traffic from the client you actually intend to use.
  • Keep proxy credentials out of shared screenshots and support messages.
  • Do not rely on a claim that an IP is guaranteed to work on a named retailer.
